EFFECTIVE MARCH 23, 2020 the District Court Building is closed to the general public until further notice to help protect the public and aid in the prevention of the spread of COVID-19.

The Lee County District Clerk's Office will remain in operation and continue to answer phone calls, emails and process e-filings during regular business hours which are Monday-Friday, 8AM-12PM, 1PM-5PM.

Passport application acceptance will be temporarily suspended.  We hope to resume on June 1, 2020.

COURT PROCEEDINGS will be held according to the Order of the Court signed March 20, 2020 by the presiding judges of the 21st & 335th Judicial District Courts.  Please contact the District Clerk's office at 979-542-2947 or lisa.teinert@co.lee.tx.us if you have any questions regarding court proceedings.

Arrangements for credit card payments may be made by calling 979-542-2947. VISA, Discover, American Express and MasterCard are accepted. A convenience fee will be charged for all credit card payments by the vendor providing this service. The fee covers the cost of making payment by credit card possible. No part of this fee is retained by Lee County.
